On Friday, February 27, from 6–7pm, acclaimed children’s author and Authors Against Book Bans founding member Maggie Tokuda-Hall will read from her work and speak about the importance of inclusive stories, intellectual freedom, and protecting young people’s right to access books that reflect the full world they live in.

🕔 Author Talk & Reading: 6–7pm

🛍️ 5–9pm: A portion of all store purchases benefit Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy, a San Francisco public school committed to civil rights, literacy, and belonging.

Come hear powerful stories, support public education, and shop local—all in one evening. Families, educators, readers, and book lovers of all ages are welcome. This is a free event.
