What makes Harvey Milk so special?
WELL We are glad you asked!
Our curriculum is rich and varied, including Civil Rights exploration and Edible Social Studies. Additionally, our recently constructed library and overall school site update in 2020 make our school unique among those in the SFUSD portfolio.
Our school body is one of the more diverse in the city, providing a perspective and comprehensive education that fosters global awareness and activism.
What are your school hours?
School starts at 9:30am and ends at 3:45pm, 2:30 on Wednesdays. For more information, visit SFUSD.
Can I tour the school and meet your teachers/staff?
We love to welcome visitors! Tours begin in the late fall. We will offer school day and evening tours. Stay tuned for a schedule and signup form.
During our tours, there will be opportunities to observe some staff in their natural habitat. For a complete view of who makes up our indispensable team, please refer to our SFUSD site.
Is there Before/After Care?
Mission YMCA is our on-site before- and after-care provider. Before-care starts as early at 7:30am and after-care goes as late as 6:30pm. Visit their site for more information and to register for the upcoming year. Instructions on how to register can be found here.
What options are there for public transport?
