Parent Faculty Club
At Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy, families, staff, and the greater community work together to create an inspiring and supportive environment where every child can thrive. One of the main ways families connect with the school is through our Parent Faculty Club (PFC)—a free, all-volunteer organization that builds community and raises vital funds to support our students.

What We Do
The PFC strengthens our school in two key ways:
- Building community through events like the Read-a-Thon, Movie Night, Spring Carnival, Drag Show & Auction, and more.
- Raising funds to fill budget gaps for essential support staff and directly support enrichment programs such as Edible Social Studies and field trips for students every day.
Every dollar raised by the PFC goes right back into making Harvey Milk a vibrant place to learn and grow.
Get Involved
There are so many ways to join in—whether or not you can attend meetings. Share your talents in web design, gardening, photography, baking, or simply lending a hand at events. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Students feel real pride knowing that our community is behind them.

A Warm Welcome
We are fortunate to have a diverse and dynamic school community, with families from across San Francisco bringing unique backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. Together, we make Harvey Milk a place where every child is seen, valued, and supported.
