At Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy, events bring our community together to learn, celebrate, and support one another. Some activities are led by the school, others are organized by the Parent Faculty Club (PFC), and many are part of the greater Castro neighborhood we’re proud to call home. Together, these events strengthen connections between families, staff, students, and the wider community.

Families gathered for our first-ever Math Night in the winter of 2025. Students and families played math games for all ages!
From joyful traditions like our Back-to-School Picnic and Harvey Milk & Cookies new families welcome event, to school-wide celebrations, parent-led fundraisers, and Castro neighborhood gatherings, there’s always something happening that invites families to take part. Whether you’re new to our community or a longtime supporter, we encourage you to join in—your presence helps make our school the vibrant, inclusive place it is.
