    Tacolicious Fundraiser on May 18!

    Dine out at Tacolicious, Monday, May 18, 2026, and support HMCRA! Thanks to The Tacolicious School Project, a portion of your purchase will go back to our school. Here’s how to participate:

    • DINE-IN OR PICK-UP: Come in to eat or pick-up food at the Mission (741 Valencia St.) or Marina (2250 Chestnut St.) locations. (Note: Third-party deliveries, such as DoorDash, do not count toward the donation.)
      You must show this flyer (on your phone or printed out) when you order so HMCRA gets credit!
    • CATERING: Bring the School Project to you! Support our school by having a taco bar delivered to a meeting or event on Monday, May 18. You must book through tsp@tacolicious.com and mention that it’s to support the TSP. To qualify for delivery, orders must total $500 or more.

    Remember that anyone can support, so spread the word beyond your schools and on to friends, family, and community!

    HMCRA Night at the Valkyries Game

    Join the HMCRA community for a fun night out at the Golden State Valkyries game on Monday, May 25 at 7pm at Chase Center! This is a great opportunity to gather with fellow families while enjoying exclusive discounted tickets—just $35 with no added fees.     Super Duper Fundraiser Night, Monday, May 4

    Join fellow Harvey Milk families on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 4–8pm at Super Duper Burger (2304 Market St.) for good food and great company. Anyone can support, so spread the word!

    • When using the self-serve kiosks, simply select the Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy fundraiser item to automatically credit your order to our school.

    • You can also order at the counter—just mention Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy and show this flyer (print out or on your phone).

    Prefer take-out? Here’s how to make it count:

    • Order only through the Super Duper website (no third-party apps). Orders must be from the 2304 Market St. location.

    • Forward your receipt to mburger@superdupersf.com with the subject line “Harvey Milk Fundraiser” by end of day May 4.

    Join us Thursday, March 19, 2026, 4–6pm at Full Proof (126 18th St), a new bottle shop in the Castro, for a tasting of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 20% of sales during the event benefits HMCRA! Kids are welcome to join.

    Sloat Growing Up Green Week, March 13–22

    Shop at any Sloat Garden Center during Growing Up Green week, Mar. 13–22, 2026, and our school will receive 10% of purchases back in the form of a Sloat gift card! (The SFUSD school with the highest participation will receive 20% back).

    **If you don’t need garden supplies at home, gifts of bagged potting soil, pathway bark, small drought-tolerant plants, native plants, or succulents are always welcome at the school. Please contact garden@harveymilkpfc.org to discuss contributions or to get involved with the garden.

    Event & fundraiser benefiting Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy

    Join us for a special community fundraiser and author event at Books Inc, Chestnut!

    On Friday, February 27, 2026, from 6–7pm, acclaimed children’s author and Authors Against Book Bans founding member Maggie Tokuda-Hall will read from her work and speak about the importance of inclusive stories, intellectual freedom, and protecting young people’s right to access books that reflect the full world they live in.

    🕔 Author Talk & Reading: 6–7pm
